As of August 2014, the Board of Commissioners voted to authorize an ordinance approving a 10-year lease agreement of the Willows Mansion incorporating the April 2, 2014 Improvement and Adaptive Reuse Proposal of Glenn Stevens/Lake House Inn. The project has stopped due to financial constraints. St. David's Nursery School has come forward with a new proposal for the Willows Mansion that is currently under review.
The following information traces the steps of the Willows RFP Process for Adaptive Re-use that began in July 2012, chronologically from the beginning starting at the bottom of this page.

The Township Manager made a request to get an extension on the recommendation of the Adaptive Reuse of the Willows Mansion and Cottage until the June 10, 2013 meeting.
After review of the 2 proposals and presentations, site visits and several meetings with the 2 finalist firms, we have further questions and I would like to request that the Board of Commissioners consider additional time for submittal of our recommendation in regards to the Adaptive reuse of the Willows Mansion / Cottage. There are a lot of details that need to be further understood and defined in order to provide a complete and thorough recommendation that meets the long-term needs and sustainability for the future of the Willows Mansion and Cottage.

Final Four Firm Presentations at the Board Of Commissioners Meeting
The final 4 firms presented their proposals for the adaptive reuse of the Willows Mansion / Cottage at the Board of Commissioners meeting on March 18, 2013.
After careful consideration of all proposals that were submitted in response to the Township's RFP for the future of the Willows Mansion and Willows Cottage, the Board of Commissioners recommends the following 4 firms be moved to the 2nd phase of the selection process:

Radnor Township received 9 proposals for the adaptive reuse of the Willows Mansion, Cottage and the areas immediately surrounding these structures. Proposals were submitted by:
Radnor Township would like to publicly invite any and all interested businesses, developers, builders, organizations, groups, partnerships, and individuals to submit proposals that take advantage of any and all opportunities to establish new uses and/or structures including the adaptive reuse of the Willows Mansion, Cottage and the areas immediately surrounding these structures. This is encouraged with the intent of preserving the history and components of the adjacent park for use and enjoyment by Radnor Township residents and the surrounding community, as it will continue to be a valuable and vital asset for future generations. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a project so as to explore the options, possibilities and opportunities that exist for the Willows Mansion, Cottage, and/or Park Property or any combination thereof, for the Board of Commissioners and the community to consider for its future use. New ideas and considerations are encouraged. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012.
