Emergency Management



On Monday, August 13 heavy rains hit Radnor Township hard, causing unprecedented flooding and related damage.  At points during the storm, the rainfall measured at 7 inches per hour with total rainfall reported to be approximately 4.1 inches.  The Township Manager, Police, Public Works, Code Officials, and Health Officers have been out meeting with impacted residents and businesses, working with the utility companies, and assisting with the collection and removal of debris.  The Township will continue to assist with the massive clean-up efforts.

The Radnor Township Board of Commissioners held an Emergency Special Meeting on August 20, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the Radnor Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087. The purpose of the meeting was to vote on a Declaration of Disaster Emergency in Radnor Township.  The Declaration of Disaster Emergency was approved, allowing the opportunity to apply for financial and physical assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
