Crime Alert - Aggravated Assault
The Radnor Township Police Department has issued a crime alert for an aggravated assault that occurred in the early morning hours just after 2:00 AM on October 6th. The Police responded to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a subject who had a wound to his chest, possibly a stabbing. Police responded and spoke with the victim who indicated he had left Kelly's Bar and walked to Prospect Ave. with a female companion. While walkming down Prospect Ave. towards County Line Rd, three subjects began verbally accosting the pair as they walked. The three subjects began to approach the pair from the rear. At some the male victim told his female companion to run. The three subjects then began have a verbal altercation in the 900 block of County Line Rd which turned physical. At some point, the victim receives a stab wound to the chest.
The three subjects are described by the victim as follows:
#1: African American male (light complected), early 20's 6'2", thin build with white shirt, black jeans, white shoes, clean shaven, with approximately 3" dreadlocks. He was also reported to be wearing a navy blue "Balenciaga" jacket.
#2: African American male (dark complecticated), mid 20's, 5'8, medium build with a clean goatee, dark shirt and dark pants.
#3: African American male, early 20's, 5'7", clean shaven, with glasses, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Two cars drove by the incident including a female who had stopped and asked the victim if he was okay after the three subject had fled towards the 7-11 store at the intersection of County Line Rd and Glenbrook Ave. The victim, not realizing he had been injured, stated he was okay and walked home. He subsequently realized he had been injured and walked himself to the hospital. The subject is currently hospitalized in stable condition. Medical personnel confirmed the victim was stabbed with a knife or similiar instrument.
