Lanctot as part of the faculty community lecture series held to mark the 175th anniversary of Villanova University. Professor Lanctot, Professor of Law of Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law will provide an historical overview of the era and the importance of President Lyndon B. Johnson's selection of Justice Marshall so as to help implement his goals to ensure liberty and justice for all during the Civil Rights era. After the lecture there will be time for questions. All are welcome, including middle and high school students. It is hoped this public lecture will inform the conversation at the upcoming CommUNITY Breakfast.
