DMAX Foundation presents Keynote Speaker retired Sgt. Kevin Bridge, the Guardian of the Golden Gate Bridge who saved over 200 people from jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. He will speak of his experiences and teach his method of "listening to understand" to help us learn how to help someone in crisis. 16 year old singer songwriter Whitney Woerz, passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health will sing. Marc Zumoff, 76ers Sportscaster will moderate. Lori Golden, Ernst and Young's Abilities Strategy Advisor will receive DMAX Foundation Leadership Award. College students will talk about mental health and DMAX Clubs on college campuses.
DMAX Foundation's mission is to eliminate stigma and encourage safe and caring conversations about mental and emotional issues in our youth. We are creating DMAX Clubs on college campuses to enable students to talk about how they are doing, how their friends are doing and how they can help each other. DMAX Clubs are for all students.
