The Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive in Radnor Township
Tuesday, May 8, 2018
Our 7th annual blood drive in Radnor will pay tribute to a true hero! Capt. Matthew LeTourneau, a Delaware County native and Philadelphia firefighter who died in the line of duty in January, was a regular donor at our blood drives. As an instructor at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center, he trained firefighters from numerous departments, including Radnor Fire Company. On May 8, blood drives around our region will honor his courage, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to saving lives.
Donors outside the area can participate by posting a photo of themselves donating blood with the hashtag #GiveBloodToHonorMatt. For every pint collected, a donation will be made to an organization that provides support to first responders during disasters.
Schedule a donation appointment at www.chablooddrive.org or 1-800-RED-CROSS (mention sponsor code "CHAMemorial"). We hope you will join us to pay tribute to Capt. LeTourneau and honor the heroism of all first responders
