Crime Alert

Radnor PD

Radnor Police responded on “Mischief Night” to a report in a local residential neighborhood of North Wayne in which a swastika was placed on a car and the alleged report of “N” word was placed on the side of a home.  Both were found to have been in some type of soap foam (shaving cream).

Radnor Police has been working with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to support anyone affected by this act.  As you may know, ADL is the world’s leading anti-hate organization.  Founded in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of bigotry, our mission is to secure justice and fair treatment for all. The largest anti-bias educator in the country, ADL has impacted over 60 million students and adults through our educational programs.

As you are aware, bias incidents are not like typical challenges. Such incidents have outsized impact and can reverberate throughout the entire community. Bias incidents can make community members of all ages feel unsettled, afraid or even unsafe.   Now more than ever we must unite and stand together in addressing anti-Semitism and hate in all forms.

Included below are ADL's resources to help individuals of all ages stay informed and discuss bias incidents.

·         Swastikas and Other Hate Symbols
