Recreation & Community Programming

Responsibilities


The Radnor Township Recreation and Community Programming Department is responsible for the administration of year-round recreational programming and community events for all ages and the operation of township facilities. This includes:
  • Parks
  • Radnor Activity Center at Sulpizio Gymnasium
  • Radnor Skatepark
  • The Radnor Trail
  • The Willows Mansion / Cottage
The Department also works in cooperation with the Public Works Department, who directly oversees the coordination of the maintenance of all of these facilities. The department aims to serve the best interest of all residents by offering an array of recreational opportunities and maintaining a secure environment that enhances the quality of life for members of the Radnor Township community.

Interim Department Protocols During COVID-19

All Radnor Township Parks and Trails are OPEN.  Playgrounds, Courts, and Pavilions are CLOSED until further notice.

  • Do not use the parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms.
  • Please maintain a six-foot distance and avoid crowded areas.
  • Face masks or face coverings are recommended per Governor’s orders, attached please find the State’s face mask guidelines: https://www.chesco.org/4458/Coronavirus-COVID-19-Face-Mask-Guidance
  • Access to restrooms and water fountains remains closed until further notice.
  • All formal usage permits and organized groups have been cancelled until further notice.
