PECO Energy is planning to close Conestoga Road between Parkes Run Lane and Church Road in Radnor Township beginning Monday, August 5, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM through early January 2020. The contractor may work weekend days as needed.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 320 (Sproul Road), U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Wayne Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
