History
With the rise in popularity of extreme sports, a Skate Park Committee was formed to decide the feasibility of constructing a community skate park where residents would have the opportunity to enjoy their sport in a safe environment. After discussing many possible locations within the Township, the site of the Township Building along Iven Avenue, near Encke Park, was decided. Radnor Skate Park was unveiled in October of 2004. This cutting-edge facility is an outdoor park with appropriate structures for skateboarding, aggressive in-line skating, and BMX freestyle biking. It is located in front of the Radnor Township Building next to the lower parking lot.
