Thanks to the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners approval, a Township-wide tree maintenance program led by McIlvaine Tree Service will begin Tuesday, June 28. The contractor will address approximately 150 trees over the next 4 months including the following, in chronological order:
- Right of Way tree removals – 10 removals, stumps included
- Right of Way tree pruning – 9 prunings
- Radnor Trail – 80 removals (stumps not accessible)
- Hares Lane Trail (between Hares Lane and Harford Park) – 22 removals with no stumps
- Ithan Park (trees located along stone wall on Ithan Ave) – 18 removals with no stumps
- Dittmar Park – 8 removals, some with stumps included some not, depending on accessibility
- West Wayne Cemetery – 6 removals, stumps not accessible
Some project areas will require crane work, partial and/or complete road closures. Project updates announcing road closures and traffic impacts will be posted regularly. Please check back often for project updates!
