Business & Commerce Regulation
Persons along with companies desiring to do business in the Township of Radnor must first obtain a business license from the Business Tax Administrator, within the Department of Finance. As well, businesses must file an annual business tax return (Business Privilege and/or Mercantile) and pay tax on gross receipts at the rate of 3 mills or $3.00 per $1,000.00 of gross receipts. The first $25,000 of receipts are exempt. Each year, business taxes account for a large segment of the Township's revenue.
Employees working in Radnor Township must pay a Local Services Tax in the amount of $52.00, which is collected at the rate of $1.00 per week. Local Services Tax is collected and remitted by employees.
