Radnor Township is dedicated to preserving, and improving, the quality of life our residents have been accustomed to throughout the years. One way of insuring that quality of life is to promote responsible pet ownership, compassion towards animals and safe human-animal interactions.
Animal Control Objectives
- Respond to all animal-related complaints received from the public
- Seize dogs running at large in the community
- Educate and enforce that all dogs and cats are vaccinated against rabies and that all dogs have a Delaware County dog license
- Investigate complaints regarding possibly rabid animals, and animal bites
- Provide public education regarding aspects of the Township's animal control ordinances, animal owner responsibilities, and animal behavior
- Investigate animal cruelty complaints
