Employees in the Refuse Division are responsible for the collection and transfer of all refuse, paper, and recyclable products disposed of by Township households. Residential wastes are collected from each residence year round according to the Trash and Recycling Calendar
About our Pick Up Service
- Yard waste will be collected curbside once a week on Monday in both Districts
- District 1 Trash collection is on Tuesday and Recycling is on Thursday
- District 2 Trash collection is on Wednesday and Recycling is on Friday
- Trash and recycling must be out by 7am on the day of service
- Rear yard pick up is available for a fee of $500 per year, payments are due each year on February 1. Payment can be made online or in person at the Township building
Holidays
Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection dates change due to Holidays and Township closings. Please visit the Trash and Recycling Calendar for changes to collection dates. The Township is closed during the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
- Presidents' Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth National Independence Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve (close at 12:00pm)
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve (close at 12:00pm)
